sweet biscuits, crushed
125g butter or cooking
margarine, melted
Combine
biscuit crumb and melted butter. Using the back of the spoon,
press into a 22cm pie dish or springform pan. Refrigerate until chilled
Filling

teaspoons or 1 sachet Halal
gelatin
125ml
(½
cup)
hot water
250g
cream cheese
125ml
(½
cup)
fresh lemon juice
1
x 400g
can sweetened
condensed
milk
300ml
(1 ¼
cup) thickened
cream
60g
dark chocolate, grated
60g
dark chocolate, extra or 60g choc bits
Instructions
- Add
Halal
gelatin to hot water, stirring
briskly with a fork until
dissolved. Allow to cool.
- Using
an electric beater or blender,
whip the cream cheese until smooth.
- Add
lemon juice and beat again.
- Combine
the condensed milk with the
cream cheese mixture.
- Stir
in the gelatine solution making
sure it is well combined
- Whip
the
thickened
cream (retaining ½ cup for
decoration if desired)
- Fold
into the mixture with the grated
chocolate
- Pour
into the prepared,chilled
biscuit base. Refrigerate.
- WHEN
FIRM, decorate with the
remainder of cream and chocolate pieces.
Serve
: 8 to 10.
